Who say's the two's are terrible?....

Why is it that as soon as your child turns two they have to do things that test your patience and that sweet innocent baby you once knew, turns into a crazy toddler?!! Last night the kids wanted to watch The Lyon King before bed. So I got them there jammies and blankies and and started the movie and everything was just perfect with my super tired (or so I thought) children! I thought it would be the perfect time for me to run upstairs and write a few emails that I needed to write! I was upstairs about 30 minutes when I heard shuffling little feet coming up the stairs with a strong familiar smell that I couldn't quite make out! It was of course Wyatt and his hair was caked and sticking straight up! He looks at me and says "mommy, I handsome!" All I could say back to him was, "Wow, What is that?" As I brought him closer to me it was of course Children's Vicks! So as quick as I could I ran downstairs to see what else besides himself he had Vicksed! My leather couches have now been greased and looking shiny and Raegan had been greased in her sleep on the one side of her head! The fun part wasn't finding my know Vicks house, it was trying to get all the Vicks off!! I immediately threw the kids in the bath and proceeded to wash their hair not once, but 4 times with shampoo! Still very greasy! by this point I wasn't sure how to get it out so I called my mom and she had the genius idea of getting dish soup to cut the grease! It worked pretty darn good, but by this time my kids had enough washing so needless to say their hair looks better than last night, but we are going to have to do some more hair washing this morning!! I guess it's a good thing that I am laughing about it this morning. Especially when Wyatt walked in this morning and his hair is sticking straight up!! Needless to we all slept like babies without coughing!

After the 4th wash at 10:30p.m. still greasy as can be!!
