Green Thumb!

Usually I am not one to brag, but when you have a dad like mine that can grow the perfect garden and cabbages and squash bigger than your children, you can't help but boast a little! You would think that a man so talented would rub off a little of his green thumb onto his daughter, but I found out this season that is not the case! I just barely, today, picked my first 3 green and red peppers from my plants! Let me just say I think they are special peppers! They are the most hideous, smallest, odd shaped peppers I have ever and I mean EVER seen!! Let's just hope that next year I can find his little secret book or maybe start rubbing thumbs with him a little more!!
don't let this picture fool you, the peppers are seriously the size of my thumb!!

Chels...are you sure you didn't take those from my garden? I am pretty sure that is what my garden looks like every year. OH MAN!! Love the post. Glad I am not the only one who can't grow a garden;)

That is hilarious! But I think we all know that your talents do not come from your dad, but your mom. And let me tell you... You have perfected them completely!
